This delicious brownie slice is so quick and easy to make and even quicker to devour wherever its served.
It is a luscious and fudgey blend of dark chocolate, coconut, brown sugar, butter and sweetened condensed milk. All are ingredients that are usually at hand in your pantry. So, whenever you need a wonderful dessert or something scrumptious for afternoon tea, this is the slice to make. Just mix the ingredients in one bowl. Nothing could be easier.

Mel’s One Bowl Brownie Slice
Ingredients:
- 1 cup SR flour
- 1/2 cup dessicated coconut
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 125g butter, melted
- 400g tin sweetened condensed milk
- 150g Cadbury original dark chocolate
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 C Fan Forced
1. Grease a 19cm x 29cm or 20cm square slice pan.
2. Combine flour, coconut, sugar, cocoa, butter and condensed milk in bowl and mix well.
3. Spread mixture in pan.
4. Chop dark chocolate into small chunks and press into base.
5. Cook in moderate oven 180C for 30-35 minutes (not more, as lose fudge texture- maybe a minute or two less, depending on oven)
6. Allow to cool before cutting
7. This is a simple and fast slice (i.e no icing required). If I am feeling ‘bad’ I add more chocolate to the top!
